DECEMBER

And a most joyous Christmas to all.  Here we gather for the afternoon in San Francisco where we take a moment from the new Nintendo game to gather for a Family photo (but missing Cath and Krystol).

NOVEMBER -

Thanksgiving in Woodside has been missing for a few years.  We eat outside just to be super safe (and there was a big table too). Peter, Lil, Sam, his friend Ryan and her Mom join with Jo's bother's family.  Food was excellent and the company even better.

OCTOBER -

Critters abound during the summer.  Two hawks fledged in our yard. A coyote moved in for about a week and enjoyed lounging at the pond.  And a deer decided to just walk down our driveway! Click on picture for more detail.

SEPTEMBER -

How wonderful to see Lillian and Samatha again.  Here they show Grandma how they use their iPads to make horse videos.

AUGUST -

Hicap (Medicare Counseling) continues to be an apostolate for John and he celebrates his 8th anniversary of volunteering. He spends about 15 hours a week between community talks and ZOOM Counseling.   ExxonMobil still contributes $1000 a year to support the activities (which we use for the volunteer recognition Lunch).

JULY -

A happy 11th Birthday for Sam and Lil brings Catharine to visit.  So we all pose for a family picture outside the tankhouse.  Even LouLou sits still for a minute (or is that a squirrel she just heard?

 MAY -

Kindle becomes a savior for Jo who is unable to get books either from the Library or the donations to the Hospital.  It takes some doing to select on line and then download and eventually return.  With Jo, necessity is the Mother of invention, and she easily learns to conquer the evil Internet.

APRIL -

IVIG is a monthly 'chore' at this point. It was a tough transition in January with his new Medical coverage, but it worked out after a LOT of arm wrestling with Aetna!  Here he has the whole infusion clinic to himself about 10 minutes from home.  Superlative service!

MARCH -

Being officially fully vaccinated, we see the Grandchildren in person on March 21st for the first time in over 1 year.  That is Jo-Ann's birthday and she gets the best present ever!

FEBRUARY -

Excuse the 'stocky'. John gets a notice from his County volunteer supervisor that the Country heath system is now offering appointments fro those over 75.  In just a few clicks he gets appointments for both of us - but Moderna and Pfizer so we can compare. We are 'immune' by March 8th!
